The We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort Celebrity Wine & Spirits Festival recently announced that Mike Love of The Beach Boys and his spirits company, Club Kokomo Spirits, will attend a star-studded event Saturday, March 15, at Scottsdale Civic Center.

Mike Love is a Grammy award-winning Rock n’ Roll Hall of Famer and an original member of The Beach Boys. He is still active alongside four other bandmates.

Love is the co-founder of Club Kokomo Spirits and will host an exclusive tasting presentation for ticketholders Saturday, March 15.

“We are thrilled to have Mike Love join us at the first-ever Scottsdale Celebrity Wine & Spirits Festival,” said Kerry Dunne, partner of R-Entertainment. “Mike is a fantastic addition to our event we cannot wait for our guests to hear legendary stories from the height of The Beach Boys days and sample Club Kokomo Spirits with Mike himself.”

Club Kokomo Spirits launched in 2022 after Love sparked the idea to create his own line of rum, his favorite spirit, and craft the perfect Mojito, his favorite cocktail, according to a press release.

Mike Love is added to an already star-studded lineup of other famous wine and spirits connoisseurs including film and TV star of popular series “Criminal Minds,” Joe Mantegna; Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Famer, Neil Giraldo; NBA All-Star and Phoenix Suns legend Tom Chambers; LPGA champion Cristie Kerr; WWE legend and reality TV personality Brie Gracia of “The Garcia Twins” (formerly “The Bella Twins,”); MLB legend Dusty Baker and Roger Clyne of rock band “Rodger Clyne and the Peacemakers.”

The We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort Celebrity Wine & Spirits Festival delivers a singular experience with a collection of renowned wines and spirits gathered in one convenient location, pleasing the palate of even the most discerning of critics, the release said.

After sampling wines and spirits, an auction of celebrity-signed bottles will begin for eventgoers to bid on their favorite celebrity-branded beverages of the day, with a portion of proceeds benefiting Scottsdale Arts.

Tickets range from $50 to $100 in advance at CivicCenterLive.org. VIP purchases offer additional exclusive sampling, a seminar and early entry.
