Vincent F. Langman 97, passed away peacefully Sunday January 26, 2020 at Shell Point in Fort Myers, FL. He was predeceased by his wife of 74 years. Patricia M. Langman 94, died August 25, 2019 in Fort Myers, FL.

Vincent F. Langman was born March 28, 1922 in Manhattan, NY. He was raised in Islip Terrace, NY and graduated from East Islip High School. He served in the Army in WWII and received The French Legion d’Honneur Medal for his service in France.

Patricia May Jones was born November 11, 1924 in NY, NY. Pat was raised in Islip Terrace, NY and graduated from East Islip High School. She was a member of the WWII Nurses Cadet Corp., a registered nurse and a graduate of Adelphi University.

Vinnie and Pat relocated to Massapequa, NY in the 1950’s where they raised their three children. He was a Massapequa volunteer fireman for many years. Vinnie was an employee of Lucent, formerly Western Electric for over thirty years, retiring in 1975. Vinnie and Pat resided in Massapequa, NY until 1976 retiring to Sun City, AZ. In February 2019 they relocated to Fort Myers, FL to be near family.

Vinnie and Pat are survived by their three children, Richard Langman and wife Cathy of Fort Myers, FL, Nancy Langman and husband Gary of Vineyard Haven, MA and Gary Langman and Sherri of Payson, AZ, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Vinnie is survived by his brother, Kurt Langman of East Islip, NY and sister, Elfrieda Mentz of Seminole, Florida.

Vincent and Patricia ashes will be interred together at the Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota FL, with military funeral

honors.
