Timothy Strong joins Dickinson Wright’s Phoenix office

Dickinson Wright has announced that Timothy M. Strong has joined as a member of the firm’s Phoenix office.

Mr. Strong, described as an experienced litigator who focuses on insurance coverage, bad faith, and class actions, defends insurers in high-stakes commercial coverage actions such as builders risk,  commercial property, and cyber-risk policies.

He also defends bad-faith actions asserted against commercial and personal-lines insurers, including allegations of institutionally improper claim-handling practices and use of claim-evaluation software. also advises insurers regarding complex claim-handling and coverage decisions, according to a press release.

In addition, as a complement to his insurance practice, Mr. Strong handles various complex commercial disputes, which included matters involving the consumer retail, background screening, car audio, mechanical engineering, construction, and commercial real estate industries.

Mr. Strong, who received his bachelor’s from Brigham Young University and his law degree from Harvard Law School, is a member of the Defense Research Institute’s Insurance Law Committee, said the release.

Listed as a Top 50 Pro Bono Attorney by the Arizona Foundation for Legal Services and Education, he is listed in Southwest Super Lawyers for Insurance Coverage, the release noted.
