The Phoenix Suit Project collects over 300 suits
Paradise Valley event will assist job-seekers dress professionally for job interviews

Last fiscal year, St. Joseph the Worker empowered 3,681 individuals to go to work.
These impactful numbers cannot exist without crucial, often overlooked or taken-for-granted resources such as proper interview and work clothing. As a result, The Phoenix Suit Project selected St. Joseph the Worker as the benefactor of their annual event and suit drive, The Phoenix Suit Project Fundraiser.
The event took place on Nov. 15 at the Mountain Shadows Resort in Paradise Valley. Thanks to each attendee at the event, over 300 men will be provided with suits for job interviews, according to a press release.
SJW’s sole mission is to help homeless, low-income and other economically disadvantaged individuals in Arizona become self-sufficient through quality employment.
Through their Tailor Made for Success program, a men’s boutique providing professional menswear, SJW connects with unemployed and underemployed men and personally fits them with a quality wardrobe for their job search and job interviews.
“Providing a man with a suit prior to a job interview or their first day of work is a priceless gift. It equips job seekers with the confidence that sets them apart from other candidates and gives them an extra edge during a process that can oftentimes feel intimidating,” said Brent Downs, St. Joseph the Worker executive director, in a prepared statement.
“Because of this, we are grateful for supporters like Randall who engage the entire community and inspire life-changing support. This event will help men turn their lives around and get back on their feet through a job.”
Founded in 2017 by Randall Mills, The Phoenix Suit Project’s mission is to be the connection point between the suit wearing community and non-profit organizations providing professional men’s clothing to individuals who are committed to rejoining the workforce.
