The Austin Centers for Exceptional Students, known as The ACES, has opened its fifth comprehensive campus in the Paradise Valley area.

The largest private provider of therapeutic special education services in Arizona, The ACES specializes in K-12 students with autism, emotional disabilities and intellectual disabilities who also have behavioral challenges, a press release explained.

The ACES is approved by the Arizona Department of Education and partners with 96 different school districts and charter schools to provide selected students with an extremely therapeutic instructional program.

According to the release, the ACES currently serves over 1,000 students per year; and since 1995, the schools have helped over 16,000 students find academic and personal success. The ACES also has campuses in Peoria, Tempe, Gilbert and west Phoenix.
