After serving seven years as a police officer at Avondale Police Department, Cmdr. DiVenti joined Paradise Valley Police Department in 2013.

Cmdr. DiVenti took on many leadership roles and was promoted to corporal as a shift supervisor within a short time. Having spent two years as a corporal, DiVenti was promoted to sergeant and worked as a patrol sergeant and admin/training sergeant for six years before being sworn in as a commander.

Within this department, Cmdr. DiVenti has had the privilege of serving in various capacities and wearing various hats. The PVPD team is eager to see what he accomplishes in his new position, according to a town newsletter.
