Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show to celebrate 70th anniversary

Annual event will return to WestWorld in February

The world’s largest Arabian Horse Show, celebrating its 70th annual edition at WestWorld of Scottsdale, returns in February.

Presented by the Arabian Horse Association of Arizona, the event will run from Thursday, Feb. 13 through Sunday, Feb. 23 and will feature the world’s best Arabians competing.

“If you’re curious about Arabians, or even if you know nothing about them, this is the perfect show for you – there’s something for everyone here,” Melissa Schalles, Arabian Horse Association of Arizona executive director, shared in a press release.

The 2025 show will feature more than 2,100 horses who will compete for more than $1 million in prize money. A huge variety of classes fill feature Arabians showing their versatility and beauty.

To honor the milestone anniversary event, the Arabian Horse Association of Arizona is asking residents to participate by submitting photos and videos of themselves at previous shows. Email your media to 70@scottsdaleshow.com.

Along with the performances, those in attendance will get to see exhibits featuring fine arts, crafts, clothing, and jewelry in the Shopping Expo adjacent to the main arena. More than 300 artisans and entrepreneurs are expected.

The 11-day show will start at 8 a.m. each day at WestWorld.

General admission tickets cost $15, tickets for seniors are $10, while children 17 and under are free. Military Appreciation Day is Tuesday, Feb. 18, when military personnel and their families can attend for free.

A family night will take place Friday, Feb. 21, giving families free admission beginning at 4:30 p.m. A special general admission ticket good for all 11 days is available for $75.

The show will support several charities including Arabian Horse Promotional Fund, Arabian Horsemen’s Distress Fund, Friends of Vail Foundation, Scottsdale Community College, Horses Help Therapeutic Riding & Youth for Troops, and Make a Wish AZ.
