Rotary Club of Scottsdale names new president, officers

The Rotary Club of Scottsdale has announced recent leadership changes including the addition of a new president and new officers.
Christopher B. West, according to a press release, is the new president of The Rotary Club of Scottsdale. A partner, director of public affairs and government relations at Jackson-West Consulting, he is the creator/founder of L5AutoUSA.
For nearly two decades, Mr. West has offered public affairs, government relations strategy and issues management counsel to corporate and nonprofit clients, spending the past 13 years with many of Washington D.C.’s top public affairs and lobbying firms as an outside consultant and field manager, focusing on coalition building, grass-tops outreach, and local, state and federal government relations.
He formerly served in the federal offices of various United States Senator, State Attorney General and State Circuit Court Offices, the release said, adding that he began his career volunteering and then was hired on various political campaigns ranging from local, state and statewide elections to federal elections for Congress and President.
His company, L5AutoUSA is a business that merges government affairs and public policy professionals with autonomous vehicle consultants, described the release, noting that Mr. West is a Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow who majored in political science and a minored in U.S. History with a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University.
