The Solel Preschool welcomed two police officers from Paradise Valley Police Department’s local precinct on May 10 for Blue Wednesday.

The officers, Officer J. Phan and Officer A. DeOrio, met with the students and staff to answer questions and build relationships, according to the Town Manager’s Weekly Update.

The students were excited to meet the officers and asked them many questions about their jobs. Students and staff showed their appreciation of the officers for what they do to keep the community safe, the newsletter said.

The visit helped to build positive relationships between the police and the community and was an educational experience for students.
