Hotel Valley Ho and Mountain Shadows is gearing up for Labor Day weekend with everything from “Show Stopper” Shakes to Champagne saberings.

Labor Day Weekend at Hotel Valley Ho, 6850 E. Main Street, in Old Town Scottsdale, invites guests to book a room or cabana and head to the OH Pool for entertainment from Friday to Monday, according to a press release.

Specials like a Raspberry Lynchburg Lemonade and Carolina BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich are among items to enjoy in addition to visiting ZuZu for brunch, dinner, and cocktails, plus live music on Friday and Saturday.

The restaurant’s famous “Show Stopper” Shake is available along with the “ultimate relaxation,” as guests can take advantage of a trio of spa treatments, including a Coco Beach Massage + Exfoliation, Coconut Papaya Facial, and Tropical Tea Pedicure, the release said, welcoming reservations at hotelvalleyho.com.

Spending this Labor Day weekend at Mountain Shadows, described as sleek boutique resort at 5445 E. Lincoln Drive, in the heart of Paradise Valley, includes celebrations at 6:30 p.m. with a Sunset Champagne Sabering on Friday through Sunday, featuring Veuve Clicquot rosé.

Enjoy a complimentary tasting and toast on the Hearth ‘61 patio and savor Veuve on special at the bar for the next hour. Soak up the sunshine at The Citizens Club and enjoy private cabanas, handcrafted cocktails, and a special rosé menu, the release said.

Guests are encouraged to explore their artsy side with the latest exhibition at The Gallery, Erika Lynne Hanson: Future Ecologies, according to the release.

Additionally, try a round on The Short Course, the resort’s 18-hole, par-3 golf course. Other perks include fitness classes every morning of the long weekend including Deep Stretch Yoga and Total Body, which is complimentary for resort guests “while admiring dramatic Camelback Mountain views from the lawn,” with reservations at mountainshadows.com.
