Joint venture partners Universal Health Services and HonorHealth announce the appointment of Jaclyn Hull as chief executive officer/managing director of the new Via Linda Behavioral Hospital.

Hull is responsible for staffing and opening of the new facility, which is under construction and scheduled to open in 2022, according to a press release.

She will oversee hospital operations, connect with the community, and assist staff in providing high-quality behavioral healthcare to Via Linda’s patients.

Hull joins Via Linda Behavioral Hospital from Quail Run Behavioral Health in Phoenix, where she recently served as chief operating officer overseeing hospital operations and leading the outpatient department, the release said.

She previously had numerous interim chief operating officer and chief executive officer at behavioral health hospitals in the Houston area.

“I am pleased to join and build the Via Linda team,” said Hull in the release. “This is an exciting time to be in healthcare as we continue to focus on patient-centered care and also look to extend services to treat patients through their entire recovery journey. I look forward to onboarding a team of dynamic individuals to best support our patient and community needs in preparation for the facility’s opening in early 2022.”

Hull has a master of business administration and master of science in business analytics from Arizona State University, the release said, noting her bachelor of science degree in organizational communication and French studies from the University of Portland.

Via Linda Behavioral Hospital, projected to open and begin serving patients in early 2022, is a joint venture partnership between HonorHealth and Universal Health Services located on the Salt River Pima–Maricopa Indian Community.

The new 120-bed inpatient psychiatric treatment facility for adolescents, adults and older adults, will have inpatient services offering intensive outpatient programming, added the release.
