Grand Canyon Chapter, NSDAR presents award to Fleischer

Grand Canyon Chapter, NSDAR Daughters of the American Revolution held its May 6 meeting at the McCormick Scottsdale.

The guest speaker was Lieutenant Colonel Shane Rexius from Lompoc, California, at the meeting led by Stephanie Troth, Regent, according to a press release.  Introduced by Yvonne Savage, Vice Regent, the program was entitled, “Space Force Overview.”

Stephanie Greer, chairman of Community Service presented the Community Service NSDAR Award to Morton H. Fleischer, of Scottsdale, for the program: “Helping Education Adapt to a Changing World,” which was produced and sponsored by the Fleischer Foundation and the Fleischer Scholars program, the release said.

Fifteen delegates from the Grand Canyon DAR Chapter attended the NSDAR State Conference held at the Mesa Hilton from May 19-20, added the release.
