The Franciscan Renewal Center in Paradise Valley is hosting three retreats and one presentation for the community to attend.

A Catholic retreat center and worship community, The Franciscan Renewal Center was founded as a Catholic retreat, called Casa de Paz y Bien, by the Order of Friars Minor in 1951. Known as “The Casa,” the Franciscan Renewal Center remains an active religious community that seeks to follow in the footsteps of Saints Francis and Clare of Assisi.

Grief and Loss; June 6-8

 This retreat provides a supportive setting where participants will gain new insights into the grief process and discover ways to heal from this intense and painful period.

Divorced and Separated; June 6-8

 This retreat will help participants live through the end of their relationship and show them how that ending can be transformed into an opportunity for personal growth.

Mental Health Summit; June 19-22

 Spend the weekend on 25 acres of serene desert beauty while hearing from an expert licensed professionals speaking on timely and informative topics.

Bridging Faiths: A Rabbi and a Priest in Conversation; Tuesday, June 24, 6-8:30 p.m.

 Experience a thought-provoking and enriching presentation by Fr. Page Polk, OFM, and Rabbi Bonnie Sharfman as they delve into the similarities and differences between Christian and Jewish rituals.
