Desert Foundation Auxiliary hosted its 56th Mother Daughter Tea recently to celebrate their 20 Debutantes to be presented at the Desert Ball, Dec. 22, at The Phoenician, 6000 E. Camelback Road.
The Debutantes and their mothers were honored at the annual tea held at the home of Dyan Getz.
The traditional high tea is a long tradition in the organization, using recipes handed down for the last 57 years.
Tea sandwiches were lovingly prepared by active and associate members along with handmade desserts and traditional tea poured by past president associate members.
Floral arrangements and décor were arranged by the active and associate members as well.
The Debutantes were presented to the membership and given the traditional charm while the mothers were presented with long-stemmed white roses.
The tea begins the celebration of the Debutantes and their families culminating at the Desert Ball in December.
