Crossroads expands to new admission center, weekend hours

Posted

Crossroads, a residential substance abuse treatment program in Arizona, has started 2020 by extending its admission hours into the weekend.

For the first time in 61 years, the Crossroads Admissions Department will be open on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., according to a press release.

In addition to extending operating hours, Crossroads recently relocated the admissions department to a larger building at 2002 E. Osborn Road in Phoenix. With seven residential treatment centers across the Valley, the organization serves over 400 men and women in recovery.

With recovery and healing in mind, the increased hours and larger space will allow the Crossroads admissions team to provide services and resources to more individuals and offer a greater staff-patient ratio, resulting in shorter wait times.

The new admissions office also features a brand new, fully integrated health care clinic equipped to provide physical exams, immunizations, and lab work services.

“When an addict comes to terms with needing help and they reach out to us, our goal is to get them through our admissions doors as soon as possible. Being accessible six days a week and being able to provide shorter wait times will make an incredible difference moving forward,” Lee Pioske, Crossroads executive director, said in a prepared statement.

“Simply put, we want to serve as many people in need as possible, by breaking down as many barriers as we can.”

Since 1959, Crossroads has been continuously working to expand and improve its programs to meet the rapidly growing need for addiction services in Arizona.
