Christian Louboutin now open in Scottsdale Fashion Square

Shoppers who are eager for a new retail experience can now immerse themselves in the red-soled world of Christian Louboutin.

Scottsdale Fashion Square, part of the Macerich portfolio of one-of-a-kind retail properties in top markets, has announced Christian Louboutin’s opening of a boutique in the mall’s luxury wing.

“The signature red sole of Christian Louboutin’s footwear is synonymous with high-end fashion and discriminating design,” said David Hyatt, general manager for Macerich. “As the home of Arizona’s exclusive Christian Louboutin boutique, we’re elevating our luxury offering to shoppers who embrace exceptional style.”

The new Christian Louboutin boutique space was imagined as an invitation for clients to experience a relaxed moment of vacation with the designer. The bright, airy atmosphere features iconic styles for both men and women in new, summery colors and iterations.

Inspired by his holiday home in Portugal — a place very dear to him — the boutique is an intimate space where clients can feel like they’re in the salon of a friend who loves them and knows them well, according to a press release.

The façade, made of crimson scales and tiles, marks visitors’ journey into Louboutin’s creative universe.

Conceived as a summer lounge, the boutique’s centerpiece is a cozy pergola-like nook. Two sofas lined with tiger-patterned fabric and green tiles offer a tribute to Louboutin’s love for traditional Portuguese craftmanship, while the design is punctuated by the Maison’s signature red carpet.

Meanwhile, the boutique wall features a reimagined version of Christian Louboutin’s quintessential arches from his very first store in Paris, revisited in woven wood for women and diamond ceramics for men. The ceiling is constructed from woven abaca and white beams, an homage to traditional fisherman’s huts.

The second room features a dreamy landscape hand-painted by French artist Alexandre Poulaillon, which lends a final creative touch to this unique space.

The new 2,344-square-foot boutique is located on the lower level of Scottsdale Fashion Square’s luxury wing, near the Grand North Entrance and adjacent to the Crystal Court.
