Police have arrested a man on burglary charges after he was found trespassing in a Paradise Valley home.
Officers were dispatched to the 7000 block of East Jackrabbit Road about 4:30 p.m. Jan. 29 after a homeowner reported seeing a man on his security cameras asleep inside one of the home’s rooms, according to a post on the PVPD’s Facebook page.
Officers arrived on scene and immediately detained and arrested a 38-year-old man from California.
“The suspect was charged with second-degree burglary and had an outstanding fugitive warrant for burglary out of California,” the post stated.
The suspect was transported to the Maricopa County Jail for extradition.
