Sandra lost her battle with Alzheimer’s Dementia on July 17, 2020. She was born in Chicago, IL Feb. 25, 1935. She is survived by her husband of 58 years Kentz, four children, Jennifer Solis, Kentz, Michelle and Lawrence Morrical. Also, two grandchildren, Adrian & Amanda Solis and numerous nieces and nephews.
She graduated from Bloom High School in Chicago Heights, IL and earned her B.S. degree from North Central College in Naperville, IL. She taught school for a few years and finished her career at The First National Bank of Chicago as a computer analyst.
She moved to Arizona in 1996. She just received a Golden Circle award for 50 years of devotion to the virtues of Beta Sigma Phi. Some other interests were genealogy (tracing her family back to the 1700’s), traveling, star gazing, knitting and needle point.
There will be a memorial for her at The Sunland Memorial Park, 15826 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 9, 2021. Donations may be made to the Banner Sun Health Research Institute, 10515 W. Santa Fe Dr., Sun City, AZ 85351.
