Sip, savor and support a brighter future at a February wine tasting event in Apache Junction in support of Soroptimist International of the East Valley’s mission.
The second annual wine tasting event is 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at Guild Mortgage, 115 N. Apache Trail Suite B in Apache Junction. Tickets are $35 each or $200 for a table of six. RSVP by calling Cheri Smith at 408-921-9214
Wine expert Janet Gangl from Wines for Humanity will guide participants through a fun and engaging wine-tasting experience, according to a release.
“Whether you’re a wine connoisseur or just looking for a good time, this event is for everyone. Enjoy a curated selection of exclusive wines, perfectly paired with delicious charcuterie, and test your wine knowledge in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere,” it states.

Soroptimist is a nonprofit volunteer organization that has clubs worldwide. The local East Valley chapter encompasses cities and towns from Tempe to the eastern state line.
Its mission is to provide women and girls with access to education and the training they need to achieve their economic goals and social empowerment. We achieve this through our dream programs: the Live Your Dream Award which provides funds to head-of-household women enrolled in a vocational or secondary education course of study and Dream It. Be It. Career Planning for Girls.
