Scottsdale police ID Mesa man as suspect in deadly collision

The Scottsdale Police Department has identified Joshua Grabek, 48, of Mesa as the driver who collided with a car Friday night in a crash that killed a woman and injured two men.
Grabek is accused of driving the wrong way and causing the crash about 7:10 p.m. Dec. 30 in the northbound lanes of Hayden Road north of Cactus Road, according to police.
Grabek was released from the hospital Saturday and was first taken into the Scottsdale City Jail but was transferred to the Maricopa County Jail for his booking on several felony charges and his initial appearance before a judge.
He was booked and faces charges for manslaughter, two counts of aggravated assault, aggravated DUI – driving the wrong way and endangerment, according to Scottsdale police.
