Pop-up vaccination clinics June 29-July 1 at Mint Cannabis
Business provides free edible, pre-roll to vaccine recipients 21 and over
Posted
Mint Cannabis is partnering with Commerce Medical Group to offer pop-up COVID-19 vaccination clinics for ages 18 and older June 29-July 1.
The Mint’s three Valley dispensary locations will provide a free edible and a free pre-roll to vaccine recipients ages 21 and up, as part of its “Snax for Vaxx” program, according to a release.
Running from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., the free vaccination clinics are:
Tuesday, June 29, at the Mint in Guadalupe, 5210 S. Priest Drive;
Wednesday, June 30, at the Mint’s Mesa location, 330 E. Southern Ave; and
Thursday, July 1, at the Mint’s Phoenix site, 17036 N. Cave Creek Road.
“With a commitment to helping the communities it serves, the Mint hopes to increase access and create convenient vaccination opportunities for individuals who wish to protect themselves and the community from the harmful effects of COVID-19,” the release states.
The pop-up clinics will be administering the Moderna vaccine for adults 18 and older. As an added convenience, no pre-registration is required as the vaccinations will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Free rides to the Mint’s vaccine sites are available through Uber. Through a partnership with the White House, Uber will provide complimentary transportation to and from vaccination appointments now through July 4. Rides are available through the Uber app and are valid for four free rides (two round-trip rides) up to $25 each, the release states.
