Amanda Frey of Mesa was recently named Sport Clips manager of the year — in a tie with Lea Egbarts of Omaha, Nebraska — at the Sport Clips Haircuts National Huddle in San Antonio, Texas.
Chandler business partners Jared Lee and Val Hill — who own 39 stores in Arizona, Oregon and Washington — were recognized as Sport Clips Haircuts Team Leaders (franchisees) of the year, according to a release.
The Sport Clips Haircuts National Huddle showed a reinvigorated focus on optimizing career opportunities for professional stylists, the release states.
“Stylists are the past, present and future of Sport Clips. They’re the heart and soul of our brand because they create the championship haircut experience our clients love. We are committed to having the best possible culture and work environment across any industry,” Edward Logan, Sport Clips CEO and president, said in the release. “You’ll see innovative training, new support programs and additional opportunities for our stylists as we continue to grow the number of locations, expand the services we offer, and enhance technology to elevate our experience for clients who trust us as the pros in men’s hair.”
Sport Clips Haircuts is headquartered in Georgetown, Texas. It was established in 1993 and began franchising in 1995. There are more than 1,850 Sport Clips stores open in the U.S. and Canada.
