A group of baby ducks was rescued this week by Mesa firefighters.

The ducklings fell into a storm drain and were saved by the Engine 212 C Shift crew, according to a message posted July 2 on the Mesa Fire and Medical Department’s Facebook account.

A neighbor in the area will care for the ducks, hoping their mother returns to reunite with them, authorities said.
