Mesa Community College fall 2021 classes begin Saturday
Posted
Mesa Community College is reopening its campus facilities for in-person services. Virtual services remain available, giving students and the community flexible options for fulfilling their enrollment needs.
Aug. 21 marks the beginning of the fall 2021 semester and the return of a more robust in-person class schedule and public events, according to a release.
“We are thrilled to be welcoming students and the community to our campuses and offering a wider array of in-person courses as the fall semester kicks off Aug. 21,” MCC Interim President Lori Berquam said in the release. “We aspire to meet our students’ needs and have heard from many Thunderbirds that they desire in-person instruction.”
In addition to providing in-person services and classes, MCC continues providing virtual options for those preferring to connect with the college using technology. Registration remains open for fall 2021 courses in four formats: in-person, live online, online and hybrid. Registration, enrollment and support services are conveniently available in-person and virtually.
Some college facilities may have limited hours or capacity. Go to mesacc.edu for additional information or to connect with college representatives online.
MCC is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for students, staff and community members, and continues working with federal and local officials to follow the recommended protocols to protect health and safety. Currently masks are required indoors at all college locations. Cleaning and sanitizing operationalized during the past academic year remain in place.
