Maricopa County Department of Transportation’s McKellips Road improvement project on the Salt River-Pima Maricopa Indian Community will require a 60-day closure beginning 5 a.m. Monday, March 24, between 92nd Street and Longmore Road.
The closure is necessary for installation of a box culvert on both sides of McKellips Road, according to a release from MCDOT.
Detour signs will direct travel, transportation officials said, adding that access to Dobson and Longmore roads from McKellips will be closed.
Local access to Dobson Road and Longmore Road will be open from McDowell Road, the release stated.
