A shooting late Friday night in Phoenix left a 25-year-old man dead and three others in a hospital - two of whom were found in Mesa, police said.
The shooting occurred 11:30 p.m. March 21 near 4100 North Black Canyon Access Road were officers arrived to find Tyson Harris who was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Officers continued to investigate and found another man with a gunshot wound near the original scene. He was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
As homicide detectives in Phoenix worked on the case, Mesa police officers contacted a man and woman in their city. Both had gunshot wounds and were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said they learned the pair were involved in the Phoenix shooting, according to a release.
“Investigators are putting pieces together to identify the role of each person involved in the shooting,” a Phoenix Police Department release stated.
