Arizona nonprofit agency Control Alt delete, which facilitates escapes from domestic violence, is teaming up with small business owner Dylan Roberts at Jimmy G’s Pasta and Salads in Mesa for a fundraising event.

On Saturday, Sept. 3, Jimmy G’s, 1130 W. Grove Avenue No. 111 in Mesa, will be donating 30% of its sales to support Control Alt Delete. The nonprofit will also be collecting new, unwrapped toys for the upcoming holiday season to ensure survivors escaping have gifts for their children, according to a release.

Control Alt Delete was founded on Sept. 2, 2019 to bridge a gap in services and help people escape domestic violence by providing one-time assistance to flee. Working hand in hand with victim advocates, the prosecutor offices and crisis response teams including police and fire departments, Control Alt Delete has facilitated 6,951 escapes from domestic violence since that have included 13,637 children.

“I knew there was a need for Control Alt Delete, I did not realize how great that need would be” founder Laura Pahules said in the release.

Control Alt Delete is a grassroots, federally designated, volunteer-run nonprofit that helps in the immediate time of need, when someone needs to flee domestic abuse.
