The Town of Fountain Hills will host the return of its annual Music Fest on Saturday, April 5, at Fountain Park.
This year’s event promises an electrifying night of high-energy performances as four bands go on stage to take the audience on a nostalgic journey through the greatest hits of the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s—all set against the backdrop of one of the world’s tallest fountains.
The free event will also offer a variety of top food trucks, a beer and wine garden featuring local craft brews from Bone Haus Brewing and a selection of fine wines from Grapeables Wine Bar.
The “Rock Through Time” event kicks off at 4 p.m. with hour-long sets, starting with Mick Adams and The Shagwells, bringing the unmistakable swagger of The Rolling Stones and the best hits of the ‘60s.
Next, Tripwire will lead the way back to the ‘70s, and they will rock with high-energy covers from bands like Queen and The Cars.
The Southern Rock Band will keep the audience moving as the night progresses with twangy riffs and soul-filled songs before Iconic closes out the musical journey with a powerhouse set of ‘80s favorites that will have everyone singing along.
“I can’t think of a better way to spend a Saturday than rocking out with friends, enjoying live music, delicious food and cold drinks,” said Town of Fountain Hills Recreation Manager Ryan Preston. “So throw on your bell bottoms, grab some hairspray and get ready to have a good time at Fountain Park.”
