I was wondering why there is no comments section in the Mesa Independent. It would be useful to be able to ask a few questions or suggest coverage.
For example, it might be of interest to folks in Mesa to have an explanation of the strategy for erecting hundreds of commercial buildings all around the Mesa airport and beyond; and who finances them. Most appear to be empty, while construction continues.
One other issue is the lighting along the 202 from Power to Guadalupe — hundreds of lights are out at night it seems, and have been for years. While this is a DOT issue, the city of Mesa should at least have some concerns.
Just a few suggestions.
