Film screening Sept. 8 in Mesa for documentary on Ron English

Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum is hosting a film screening of "Living in Delusionville" followed by Q&A with Ron English at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, at the Piper Theater at Mesa Arts Center, 1 E. Main St.

"Living in Delusionville" chronicles the life and times of English, combing archival footage, animation and interviews with participants who offer intimate insight into the mercurial artist. The documentary takes the viewer through English‘s unique universe and the world he has created and coined Delusionville, according to a release.

Following the film screening, guests will be invited to a sneak-peak preview of the artist’s exhibition and pop-up store at Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum.

General admission tickets are $11 and are available at mesaartscenter.com/ronenglishfilm.
