The Festival of the Superstitions in Apache Junction will resume Saturday, Nov. 13, after the festival was canceled during the pandemic in 2020.

This is the 11th year of the festival and is presented by the Apache Junction Area Chamber of Commerce, according to a release.

The event is 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at Flatiron Park at 100 N. Apache Trail in Apache Junction.

Vendors, food trucks, bounce houses, a pie-eating contest, live bands, a beer garden, miniature ponies and more will be available for everyone of all ages.

Highlights include a veterans tribute, which includes the American Legion Riders; the national anthem; a presentation of the colors; presentation of the flag to representatives of each of the armed forces. Also planned is a car show with highly prized cars lining North Apache Trail just north of Phelps Drive.

The chamber is accepting vendor applications and can be requested by email by contacting Heather DeBrosse, the director of sales and marketing, at heatherd@ajchamber.com. For more information, call 480-982-3141.
