Fallen firefighter memorial service Monday in Mesa

Mesa Fire and Medical Department invites the public to attend the fallen firefighter memorial service on Monday.

The public event at 8:30 a.m. Feb. 17 at 305 E. Second St. at the park north of Mesa Fire Station 201 is to include a memorial service recognizing department members who have passed while on active duty or in the line of duty.

Mesa Mayor Mark Freeman, City Manager Chris Brady, Fire Chief Mary Cameli and retired Fire Chief John Oliver are to offer remarks. The Mesa Fire and Medical Department Honor Guard and Pipes and Drums will lead the last alarm bell tradition.
