The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for a nightly U.S. Highway 60 Superstition Freeway closure and lane restrictions in Mesa from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. starting Wednesday, March 12, and ending the morning of Monday, March 17, for maintenance work.

Eastbound US60 will be closed between Country Club (SR 87) and Mesa drives.

To detour, US60 drivers may consider using alternate routes, including exiting ahead of the closure and using Baseline Road or Southern Avenue.

The following ramps also will be closed: The eastbound US 60 on-ramps at Dobson and Alma School roads.

Westbound US 60 will be narrowed to two lanes between Mesa and Country Club drives.

ADOT advises drivers to use caution and be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
