Commemorative Air Force Museum speaker series talk tomorrow on ‘The Dam Busters’

Hear the captivating story of daring British Royal Air Force raids on major dams in Germany’s industrial Ruhr Valley during World War II at a 1-2 p.m. Dec. 19 speech.

“The Dam Busters” will be presented by JK Wight, museum docent, at the Commemorative Air Force Museum, 2017 N. Greenfield Road in Mesa, according to a release.

Visitors age 6 and older, as well as museum personnel, must wear masks, observe social distancing and use hand sanitizer stations provided throughout the exhibit areas, the release states.
