Combs Performing Arts Center announces its 2021-22 season

The Combs Performing Arts Center has unveiled its 2021-2022 season. The center welcomes back TAD Management, Inspire Entertainment, Centerstage Academy for the Arts, Arizona Repertory Theater for Kids, The Copper Hollow Band and many more.

As always, the safety, health, and well-being of our students, staff and community will continue to be the highest priority of the J.O. Combs Unified School District. As the CDC revises its standards, we anticipate full capacity and minimal restrictions for the 2021-2022 season.

December '63-Tribute to The Four Seasons
Nov. 12, 2021 at 7 p.m.

This show features four powerful vocalists whose voices and moves will have you captured before you have a chance to catch your breath. With everything from Billy Joel to Earth Wind and Fire and more, and just a little Frankie Valli thrown in for good measure!

Sister's Christmas Catechism

Dec. 4, 2021 at 7 p.m.

Employing her own scientific tools, assisted by a local choir, as well as a gaggle of audience members, Sister creates a living nativity unlike any you've ever seen. With gifts galore and bundles of laughs, Sister's Christmas Catechism is sure to become the newest addition to your holiday traditions.

Walkin' The Line-Tribute to Johnny Cash
Jan. 29, 2022 at 7 p.m.

Relive the amazing songs of Johnny Cash in this tribute to the Man in Black. Hear all of Cash’s biggest hits, such as “Folsom Prison Blues,” “Ring of Fire,” “Boy Named Sue,” “Walk the Line” and many more accompanied by a live country band. Join Scott Moreau who has starred as Johnny Cash in the Broadway smash hit “Million Dollar Quartet” in the national tour, at Harrah’s Las Vegas and throughout the United States for the past 10 years.

Garth Live-Tribute to Garth Brooks
Feb. 12, 2022 at 7 p.m.

Having played to sold-out crowds across the U.S., Garth Live! is a stunning tribute to the music of Garth Brooks featuring Drew Baloh. This production is a tribute to some of the greatest music produced in the 90’s country era including monster hits such as “Friends in Low Places,” “The Thunder Rolls,” “The Dance,” “Much Too Young,” “Ain’t Goin’ Down” and countless others.

Voyager-Tribute to the Music of Journey
March 12, 2022 at 7 p.m.

Voyager is a spectacular tribute to the music of Rock & Roll Hall of Fame artist, Journey. This high energy production will take you on a musical tour of classic songs such as “Faithfully,” “Open Arms,” “Who’s Crying Now,” “Wheel In The Sky,” “Anyway You Want It,” “Don’t Stop Believing” and many more. Featuring extraordinary musicians and vocalists who have toured nationally and internationally, Voyager provides today’s most entertaining and accurate Journey experience.

Mirage: Tribute to the Music of Fleetwood Mac
March 25, 2022 at 7 p.m.

Mirage, named after the bands’ third best-selling album, features Michelle Tyler as Stevie Nicks, Bob Weitz as John McVie, Annie Boxell as Christine McVie, Gary Hagen as Lindsey Buckingham and Richard Graham as Mick Fleetwood. Based in Los Angeles, Mirage has earned the top honors among tribute artists. It also has been praised by the real Stevie Nicks after she heard a performance. Mirage recreates the classic lineup with a strong stage show and every detail to authenticity.
