He is a certified technical director of Burns Pest Elimination in Metro Phoenix, with branches in Mesa, Tucson and Las Vegas, according to a release.

Winners of the ACE Professional Award include scientists, educators and more. They will be honored during Entomology 2021, ESA’s annual meeting, taking place in-person and online Oct. 31-Nov. 3 in Denver, Colorado.

“It’s an honor to witness and support the growth and success of an outstanding individual like Jeffery Keller,” Dave Burns, president and CEO of Burns Pest Elimination, said in the release. “Our family at Burns is dedicated to the growth of every hardworking individual and we are so excited to celebrate this award.”

“I am honored to receive this award and believe that individual value is greatly increased when you surround yourself with dedicated individuals who share a similar perspective for personal development of skills, knowledge and pursuit of education,” Keller said.

Keller has been actively involved in the pest control industry for 20 years and has dedicated much of his professional life to assisting others and problem solving within that discipline. As a technical director at Burns Pest Elimination, he oversees the development of more than 150 highly skilled professionals, the release states.

He has acquired more than eight licenses and certificates over the last 20 years.

“We are so proud of Jeff not just his achievement regarding this award but in the manner that he mentors daily,” Austin Burns, operations manager at Burns Pest Elimination, said in the release. “He is a true ambassador for our industry; professional, knowledgeable and passionate. His commitment to excellence and training has elevated all those around him. His hard work and dedication is proven through receiving the 2021 ACE Professional Award.”
Keller has many years of involvement in the Arizona State Pest Association Board of Directors. He currently serves as vice chair the NPMA PestVets Council, assisting transitioning military service members into the pest control industry. Keller had an extensive military career within the U.S. Army. He served in several deployments and was honored with various distinguished awards and commendations, the release states.

“Jeff is the epitome of what we strive for here at Burns. We are so proud of what he has accomplished not only at Burns, but in his career in the pest industry,” Cory Burns, district manager for Burns Pest Elimination, said in the release. “Each and every day, Jeff personally strives for the best from himself and his team. Through communication, leadership, mentoring and overall passion he has brought our service team and our company to a new level. We cannot say enough about Jeff and his commitment to excellence, he is undoubtedly deserving of this award, and we are so proud to celebrate and honor him.”

“Jeff Keller is very deserving of this reward. Not only is he an example for us all but promotes the best qualities at Burns that we hold dear: honesty, integrity, compassionate and caring about our customers, Danny Burns, vice president of Burns Pest Elimination, said in the release. “Jeff is an individual if that he is involved you can rest assured that the challenge that is present will be accomplished.”
