Bridge work to close US 60 section this weekend

Bridge and sign work will close a section of US 60 this weekend.

PHOENIX – Detours will be set up this weekend when westbound US 60 is closed between Loop 101 and Interstate 10.
Crews will be working on bridges and signs from 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, to 4 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
At the same time, ramps will be closed from Loop 101 to westbound US 60.
In addition, the westbound US 60 on-ramps at Country Club Drive, Alma School Road, Dobson Road, McClintock Drive, Rural Road and Mill Avenue will be closed from 8 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday.
Drivers traveling west on US 60 heading to Sky Harbor Airport should use northbound Loop 101 to westbound Loop 202 and use the Sky Harbor Boulevard entrance.
