An open house will be held 9-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, at the new artificial intelligence lab at the Chandler-Gilbert Community College Williams Campus, 7360 E. Tahoe Ave. in Mesa.

Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the lab, meet AI students, talk with program leaders and explore the future of AI. The lab was built in partnership with Intel Corp. and the Arizona Commerce Authority, according to a release.

Chandler-Gilbert Community College, Estrella Mountain Community College, Intel and the Arizona Commerce Authority have partnered to offer an artificial intelligence certificate and degree program.

The Maricopa County Community College District includes 10 individually accredited colleges — Chandler-Gilbert, Estrella Mountain, GateWay, Glendale, Mesa, Paradise Valley, Phoenix, Rio Salado, Scottsdale, and South Mountain — and the Maricopa Corporate College, serving approximately 100,000 students with two-year degrees, certificates and university transfer programs.
