25th Annual

Apache Junction NJROTC students host vehicle show Saturday

Car, truck, motorcycle and military vehicle lovers — as well as anyone interested in helping patriotic high school students — are invited to attend the 25th annual Navy Junior ROTC benefit vehicle show 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at Apache Junction High School, 2525 S. Ironwood Drive in Apache Junction.

The event is hosted by the Apache Junction NJROTC Anchor Club and all proceeds go to support the local Naval Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps program.

Admission is free for all spectators. Vehicle registration is 8-9 a.m. and the entry fee is $25 per vehicle. The first 100 people to register for the show by Jan. 26 will receive a T-shirt and goodie bag. Vendor spots are also available for $25.

The event includes a silent auctions, a “most patriotic vehicle” prize, music, games and a 50/50 raffle. Breakfast options include breakfast bagels, doughnuts and coffee. Various food trucks will be on site for lunch options.
