Allegiant plans service from Gateway Airport to Santa Maria, California

Allegiant recently announced a new nonstop service between Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport and Santa Maria, California, beginning Nov. 19.

The flights will operate on Thursdays and Sundays, according to a release.

The Santa Maria Valley has 15 beaches, 34 tasting rooms and rolling valleys of endless outdoor recreation, the release states.

Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport is owned and operated by the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport Authority. PMGAA consists of representation from Mesa, Gilbert, Queen Creek, Gila River Indian Community, Phoenix and Apache Junction.
