Allegiant adds service from Mesa to Portland, Ore.

Allegiant has begun service from Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport to Portland International Airport in Oregon.

“We believe this will be a popular route for both destinations, Drew Wells, Allegiant’s senior vice president of revenue and planning, said.

The new flights will operate twice weekly. Flight days, times and fares can be found at Allegiant.com.

The airline is offering one-way fares on the new routes as low as $38, according to a release.
