Sheriff’s deputies seek the public’s help in locating a vehicle involved in a collision Litchfield Park.

Around 12:05 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, a blue 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe struck the back of a semitruck and was wedged partially under the rear of the trailer.

A witness reported a semi, possibly white, with unknown company name, hauling a large yellow backhoe on a flatbed trailer was northbound on Litchfield Road from Camelback Road with the Tahoe dragging at the rear. The Tahoe dislodged from the trailer south of Bethany Home Road and ran off the road toward the west.

The unknown semi did not stop and possibly turned eastbound on Glendale Avenue.

There may be damage to the right rear corner of the trailer.

Anyone with information about this collision is asked to contact the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office at 602-876-8477 or 602-876-1011. Refer to Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Report IR19-038988.
