MCSO investigates shooting at Litchfield Park home

Posted

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday afternoon that detectives are “actively processing the scene” of a shooting that occurred earlier in the day at a Litchfield Park home.

Just before 4 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, deputies received a call about a shooting victim near 126th Drive and West Cercado Lane. There, deputies found a woman with a gunshot wound.

“Preliminary information was that possibly three suspects entered the home, and shots were fired,” an MCSO release stated.

The victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to MCSO.

There is no suspect information available, authorities said.
