After more than a year of virtual flag-raisings celebrating the anniversaries of branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, Litchfield Park will begin celebrating those milestones in person Monday, June 14.

Litchfield Park returns to in-person flag-raisings on Flag Day

Public invited to 8:15 a.m. ceremony on City Hall lawn

After more than a year of virtual flag-raisings celebrating the anniversaries of branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, Litchfield Park will begin celebrating those milestones in person Monday, June 14.

Mayor Thomas L. Schoaf will present a proclamation honoring Flag Day and the U.S. Army’s 246th birthday at 8:15 a.m. on the Litchfield Park City Hall lawn, 214 W. Wigwam Blvd.

The public is encouraged to attend. Light refreshments will be served.
