Litchfield Park hosts adult cornhole tournament on Saturday, Nov. 16.
Posted
The City of Litchfield Park Sports Department will host the 2024 adult cornhole tournament on Saturday, Nov. 16, from 10 a.m to 2:00 p.m.
The tournament will feature 32 co-ed teams competing for the championship on the lawn between the Litchfield Park Recreation Center and the Litchfield Library, located at 100 S. Old Litchfield Rd.
Cornhole is a popular outdoor game where players take turns tossing bean bags at a raised board with a hole in it. Teams earn points when bags land on the board, for one point, or fall through the hole, for 3 points.
The tournament will follow a round robin format, with teams divided into 8 divisions of 4 teams each. The top two teams from each division will advance to a single-elimination bracket to determine the tournament champion.
Participants must be at least 18 years old, and each team will consist of two players. The entry fee is $50 per team.
