Litchfield Elementary School District begins grab and go breakfast, lunch distribution

Families of Litchfield Park Elementary School District students ages 18 and younger can pick up free grab and go breakfasts and lunches prepared by the district’s Food Services Department at several sites weekdays while schools are closed due to COVID-19, the coronavirus.

The USDA-funded program began Wednesday, March 17 and will continue Mondays through Fridays until schools reopen. Families do not need to register for meals, and there is no income requirement to participate. Children must be present in the vehicle when picking up meals. Pickup sites and times are:

Avondale

Bella Mirage/3800 Lux Apartments, 3800 N. El Mirage Road, 10-10:50 a.m.

Corte Sierra Elementary, 3300 N Santa Fe Trail, 10-11 a.m.

Rancho Santa Fe Elementary 2150 N. Rancho Santa Fe Blvd., 10-11 a.m.

Luke Air Force Base

Guard shack at Smoki and Lolomai, 10-10:50 a.m.

Litchfield Park

Barbara B. Robey Elementary, 5340 Wigwam Creek Blvd., 10-11 a.m.

Claremont Avenue bus stop, N. 136th Drive and W. Claremont Avenue, 9-9:50 a.m.

Maryland Avenue bus stop, N. 136th Avenue and W. Maryland Avenue, 9-9:50 a.m.

Wigwam Creek Middle School, 4510 N. 127th Ave., 10-11 a.m.
