The third annual Polar Plunge will take place at the Goodyear Recreation Campus on Saturday, Dec. 14, from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at 420 S. Estrella Parkway.
Participants will take a 62-degree dip in the pool, and attendees can enjoy a range of family-friendly activities.
The event will feature complimentary hot chocolate, with the Goodyear Fire Department serving breakfast. Arts and crafts will also be available, along with a photo booth and a raffle offering prizes.
The Polar Plunge offers participants the potential physical benefits of cold exposure, such as improved circulation and immune function, as well as possible aid in muscle recovery.
