Don’t you four cheddar ’bout me: Youths invited to enter Aioli Gourmet Burgers song competition

Winner to be featured in Triple Threat Challenge commercial

One talented Valley youth with a passion for music and burgers could find themselves and their work featured in a commercial next year.

Aioli Gourmet Burgers, which opened its second Valley restaurant in Litchfield Park’s Fry’s Marketplace earlier this year, has teamed up with Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Centers and Valley Youth Theatre for a Triple Threat Challenge original song and video contest.

Known for its triple threat food challenge, where hungry competitors attempt to finish a three-patty burger, loaded fries and a shake in less than 15 minutes, Aioli is asking youths ages 12 to 20 to create a tune that perfectly pairs with the challenge.

The winning song will be used to promote and market the Triple Threat Challenge through a commercial video with Chef Tommy D’Ambrosio.

“We had such a wonderful experience partnering with Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Centers on our burger and shake competition. I was inspired by the talent of the teens and am thrilled to work with them again for this competition,” Mr. D’Ambrosio said. “This one is extra special because we have Valley Youth Theatre as a partner too so that we can reach more kids and give them a chance to do something fun!”

“We are so excited to partner with Aioli Burger and Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Rock Center to provide this amazing opportunity to the young people in our community! Creativity and talent abound in the young people in this town,” said Bobb Cooper, Valley Youth Theatre producing artistic director..

The Teen Centers and theater team will offer support, mentorship and resources to any youth interested in participating. The Teen Centers offer state-of-the-art recording studio and video studio space to support teen participants.

“Phoenix has a rich history of talented young musicians that have become known worldwide including Jimmy Eat World, Jordin Sparks, Taylor Upsahl, The Format, Gin Blossoms and of course, Alice Cooper,” said Randy Spencer, who handles partnerships and development for the Teen Centers.

“We see highly talented teens every day at our teen center and this is a great opportunity for more youth to showcase their creativity,” he said. “We are thankful to partner with Aioli Gourmet Burgers and Valley Youth Theatre on this contest and can’t wait to hear all of the great submissions!”

To enter, participants should create a 1- to 2-minute song with a video that showcases the Triple Threat Challenge, load it to YouTube and submit via aioliburger.com by Monday, Jan. 18.

Songs should feature all original music, with no profanity, in any musical genre.

First-place winner will receive a turntable or guitar, four tickets to any performance at the Herberger Theater Center with a backstage tour, a hosted party for 10 at Aioli Gourmet Burgers and a feature in the commercial video with Mr. D’Ambrosio.

Second-place winner will receive signed music or sports memorabilia, two tickets to any performance at the Herberger Theater Center and a $75 Aioli gift card.

Third-place winner will receive two tickets to any performance at the Herberger Theater Center, a $50 Zia Records gift card and a $50 Aioli gift card
