The city of Litchfield Park has begun taking reservations for groups of 49 or fewer wishing to use one of the city’s 11 parks for things like birthday parties or picnics.

All guests must wear masks when within six feet of each other and social distancing should still be utilized, city Youth and Sports Coordinator Pat McCoy said.

Prices vary depending on location. To reserve a park or for more information, call Mr. McCoy at 623-935-9040.

The city’s weight room at the Litchfield Park Recreation Center, 100 S. Old Litchfield Road, also will be open during regular business hours.

“We are limiting the weight room to one person at a time and masks must be worn,” Mr. McCoy said. “The gym equipment will be cleaned between users.”

The recreation center is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.
