The Southwest Valley Chamber of Commerce will host its annual awards gala Friday, Sept. 6, at the Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park, 300 E. Wigwam Blvd.

The event will begin with a cocktail reception at 5:00 p.m., followed by dinner and the awards ceremony at 7:00 p.m. Attendees can also dance to the music from DJ C West. The night will conclude with an after party.

The gala is expected to attract nearly 600 business owners, managers, elected officials and community leaders. The chamber will present eight awards during the evening, including Excellence in Business, Spirit of the Chamber, Rising Star, Community Impact, Corporate Advocate of the Year, Education Partner of the Year, and Outstanding Public Official of the Year.

Nominations were submitted by chamber members and reviewed by a selection committee composed of SVCC board members.

The Southwest Valley Chamber of Commerce is an organization made up of the business community in Avondale, El Mirage, Goodyear, Litchfield Park, Tolleson and beyond. The organization offers a range of services such as networking events, business development resources, and community engagement programs. The Chamber facilitates collaboration among local businesses, government officials, and community leaders through advocacy, educational initiatives and promotional activities.
